In honor of Valentine's Day, we are introducing all of you to one of our favorite
foxes for this month's featured musician - Bibis Ellison!!! First off, how frickin'
cute is she in that pic with the unicorns!??!?! GAH! She's all like - "Hey, yeah... Hi
y'all. Have you met my friends Disco and Lilah? Yeah, they're all right." I can only
dream to be so cool when hanging out with unicorns. Winged unicorns, at that.
But anyway, beyond her general air of the coolest person on the unicorn cloud,
our little Bibis has lungs that have to be heard to be believed. Which explains
why, even after she moved out of our fair port city, every show she plays when
she comes back to town is filled with standing room only audiences, just hoping to
get a glimpse of the soulful songstress who sings about the ups and downs of love
with a voice that never wavers. It's no surprise that she won Encore Magazine's
2010 Entertainer of the year award.
We're so happy to finally have the chance to work with one of the busiest little
musical bees we have ever met. Not only is she our featured musician this
month, but we are also working with her for our upcoming EoU Trunk Show and
benefit for The Story Collective at Satellite Lounge on February 10th - this coming
Thursday! So for all of you who want a chance to hear her for yourselves, get
your butts down to Satellite on Thursday. And for all of you out-of-towners - -
