*all entries were judged blindly by the staff of edge of urge. No one knew who they were voting for when we voted for the jingles. The only person who knew which jingles belong to which person has the memory of a goldfish and did not cast a deciding vote, anyway.
JINGLE CONTEST CRITERIA:
- All entries property of Edge of Urge (EoU.) EoU reserves the right to alter the winning entry as necessary for final use. EoU employees and their families are not eligible to participate in the contest.
- All entries must be original work.
- All entries must at least 30 seconds long.
- You can enter whatever you want, but if it can’t be played on the radio, you won’t win, so keep it PG-13.
- Jingle must include the words "Edge of Urge".
- Entry must include name, email, and phone number. Entries will be judged anonymously.
- Jingles accepted by email mp3s to jingle@edgeofurge.com, or drop off a CD in-store at 18 Market St.
- Entries due 6:00 PM, March 15th, 2010.
- All Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsors are not responsible for any expenses incurred in connection with participation in the contest.
By submitting an Entry Form, each participant agrees to be bound by these Contest rules, and the decision of EoU is final. Each participant agrees to release and hold EoU, their employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives and its subsidiaries, parent companies or other affiliated companies harmless from any and all damages, losses, claims and/or liabilities arising out of participation in the contest.
- Prizes shall be awarded as follows: First Place Winner receives $100 gift certificate to Edge of Urge; Second Place Winner receives a $50 gift certificate to Edge of Urge; Third Place Winner receives a $25 gift certificate to Edge of Urge. Winners in all of the above categories will also have their Jingles on www.edgeofurge.com. Prize recipients should allow 4 to 6 weeks from notification for delivery of gift certificates. Prizes are non-transferable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
- EoU reserves the right to alter any rules of any contest at anytime.
Your entry constitutes your permission (except where prohibited by law) to use your name, city, state, likeness, image, and voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity without additional compensation.
