"Verses Jeans is a small company producing limited production denim pieces, using locally produced raw materials, including true American selvage denim. We do it all in our downtown studio - from design to finished product - and we do it all by hand. Each pair of jeans is individually cut with scissors and sewn on vintage machines. We're on a mission: to create downright perfect designs, paying particular attention to the character and detail of each piece. To ensure such designing and creation takes place in a nearby and nurturing environment. To embrace quality over quantity and the humanness inherent in this idea. To preserve traditional materials and construction methods, making them an integral part of our decidedly modern aesthetic.
